Simple Contest for Free Subscription

I think by now pretty much everyone has heard of sites like FML where people post crappy things that happen to them. For example:

Today, I caught some perverts sitting in a car in front of my house, spying on my neighbors. When they refused to leave, I grabbed a baseball bat and they sped off in a hurry. Later, those same perverts came back to arrest my neighbors for drug trafficking. I had threatened cops. FML

There are different knock off versions of the site, for example there's a desi one. Well since I like to do things bigger and better, I'm also going to make my own desi version.

So the contest is for you to help me come up with desi stories to start the site off with. The idea is that the stories exemplify desiness. For example

Today, we took off the plastic covering from our living room sofas. The sofas have been in our living room for the past four years. ABCD

Quote:

Today, my parents made us buy one "small" drink for the whole family at McDonald's because refills are free. ABCD

"ABCD" is not the actual abbreviation but use that for now. The story must start with Today and end with ABCD and must be under 300 characters.

So, whoever comes up with the funniest story will win a free subscription (the $10 one). You can post as many stories as you want. Also don't post rubbish in this thread intentionally or ill infract you because i don't want to waste my time reading "Today, I woke up. ABCD". thanks.

just to be clear ABCD has nothing to do with being an american born confused desi. its just a fill in for now, its just the first four letters of the alphabet

well this didn't happen to me today... but it happened to me couple of months ago...

"today i was in an airplane and pull up the screen to look out the window... and i saw sand... im in iraq now, fml"

Today I spent 6 hours on RD trying to get my post count up, people to positive rep me and drop me dimes on the mainsite only to realize I have a calc exam tomorrow. ABCD

just updated. u have until sunday to submit stories. then ill choose a winner on monday. i might shortlist a few of them and make a poll or ill just have a select group of people vote on them (mods/admins/a few others)
