Hi guys, how u doin

.....going dubai in a couple of weeks, family looking to buy a holiday spot there. any1 been to dubai or live there? family looking to by a 3 bed place, nothing too grand just a spot to have when we go there in the summer or whenever.

...u always see those amzing hotels, with great beach view, family would like tht type of place, or if not a house/villa not to far from the beaches or attractions, oh yeah also a area where homes are and will go up in value.

Looking to spend around £200,000. Wht can they get for tht price?
wht part of dubai is worth buying in?

would be greatful for any advice

Ermm you can pick up some nice 2/3 Bed apartments for around £200,000, I'd recommend you go to Damac Properries as they are one of the biggest in Dubai. Theres a lot of other agents out there and even the UK but Damac is a reputable name. If your looking for a villa then Emaar is the company you shoudl deal with, although they will only sell land but its quite pricey...your looking at over £200k but its fantastic......Ill post up some links for you in a bit....have you ever been there before?

They have some amazing developments like Arabian Ranches, The Lakes, Springs etc.....but this is on the pricier side and possibly out of your budget....

If you want you can buy a pad in Sharjah which is a residential Area and a lot cheaper too...but ermmmm I just came back from Sharjah and to be honest it was crap....lol

im looking at the links right now, thing can get a bit pricey, but as tehy just want a spot for only a few weeks during the year, £200,000+ is not really worth it for them.

ok i have stayed in loads of hotels in dubai... but then i get alot of discount.... i am going ther in 3 weeks, and what u pay for 1 night in the hotel i am staying, i am paying for 5 nights....

Hehehe, hun we're Desi's/Asians or whatever you wanna call us, we NEVER EVER pay full price for anything...you'd be surprised how much I pay as well...lol Anyway...its alllllll good

Uhmmm...I dont think you can buy houses in dubai unless you are a UAE citizen. Unless they are in special zones?
