ramadhan is comin up very soon.. how many of you are ready to start fasting?! what do you guys eat for sehri before sunrise.. and for iftaar after sunset?

i rarely ever eat sehri.. but if i do.. it's just cereal or a waffle. For iftaar.. i eat samosas, fruit chaat, chunney, pakoras, mango milkshakes.. yeah.. the list keeps going.. what can i say.. my mom's a damn good cook. 8)

nice plan .. i see the point u wake up for zohr then ther's no that much time left but erm staying up all nights pretty hard to ..

shut up Aiez...not everyone is knocturnal like you! i cant stay up at night...although i DOOOOO pig out at night! especially late at night...then go to bed! maybe thats why i gained soo much weight

you have to have an eligible reason to skip sehri ... but if you don't wake up intentionally for sehri then your roza isn't counted

you dont have to have sehri

its sunnah to have sehri, not farz.

but you do have to wake up and intent your fast by the time alloted...which is like 10-15 min before fajr.

Alot of things in Islam are Sunnah ... but it doesn't mean you should pick and choose what you can and can't do ... Sunnah is there as an example to be followed

you should always try to follow sunnah things...thats what Prophet Mohammad (pBUH) did. but sometimes you cant, and its ok.

you HAVE TO DO the farz things, and its not ok if you cant.

mm yummy...yep...my mom MAKES us wake up to eat...even if itz water...we HAVE to go downstairz eheh so there goes my sleepiness (sumwat)...soooooooooo for sehri...itz parata / unda / orange juice.....more than likely cuz itz soooo gooood....n then like ya mentioned...pig out fo iftaar
