was trying to help out this guy trying to change the spark plugs in his megane 1.6 coupe. prob is we couldnt pull the things out. so what, do you just pull them out or is there a special technique to it?

You get a special tool to pull out s/plugs
Most of them attack to a Wrench and clip to the top part, then you pull it out. I'll try and find a pic of mine EDIT: Check this out http://www.ehow.com/how_110_replace-spark-plugs.html

pull the leads out, then u need a spark plug socket, its then a case of unscrewing them out.
when putting new ones in, dont ever over tighten them, coz if they get crossthreaded, ur fucked.
