Toddler dead from high fall....

Police believe the boy fell through the living room window. The circumstances are not yet clear.

Neighbours say the boy is an only child.

Tenants at the building were stunned by the tragedy.

"(The mother) just fell down and she was screaming," said Jumana Faizy, fighting off tears. "I could not control myself."

It's not clear where the parents were during the incident. They have spoken to police.

Some neighbours said they heard a commotion from the unit where the boy fell.

"It was horrifying, there was some banging, the door slammed a few times," said Sandra Bencic.

"The mother kept screaming. There was an altercation, I think, with the young deceased child."

they live in 28th floor in my building n i live in 25th floor.....this happened right after i left for work at 11:30 am.....i got home around 12 midnight, my brother showed me the spot where the child landed on.....there were so flowers.....right now i m so scared to sleep.....everytime, i look down from my window, i see cops's cars around....and the investigation is still going on.....some believed that the child was tossed by his angry father coz the child didnt land straight.....it landed away from their balcony.....some pplz saw the body n said that the child landed on his head and it was smashed completely......

i just read about this. do you remember the incident where the father tossed his child over the bridge above the highway towards oncoming traffic?

yea i read that.....desi dads are so messed up nowadays.....recently this sri lanka dad tried to kill his daughter n her boyfriend by running over them wit his car.....the dad got arrested n he was smiling n dancing.....his daugter's bf's house was firebombed recently n his mom is still in hospital.....

WTF?! Don't these people understand the concept of "freedom of choice"? This isn't the motherland, it's American.. get used the idea of your kid having a bf/gf.
