Man confesses to murdering family

MULTAN: Pakistani police have arrested a man after discovering the decomposed bodies of his parents and five siblings following his arrest for another murder, officials said on Friday.

The man, Rana Adnan Mehmood (Right), 22, confessed to killing and burying the bodies at a house in Multan a year ago, investigating officer Munir Ahmad Chishti told AFP. “The police dug up the house after Mehmood confessed to killing his parents, Muhammad Younus, 50, and Hamida Mehmood, 45, two brothers, Farhan, 16, and Arsalan, 12, and three sisters, Sadaf, 20, Sadia, 18, and Sobia, 8, during interrogation for another murder,” he said. He added that police had arrested Mehmood for allegedly robbing and murdering a widow on Thursday night. The accused told investigators that he had killed his mother and sisters because his father had said they had been involved in “perverse” activities, while he had killed his brothers because they were witnesses to the murder of the women. Mehmood said he had killed his father last because of his involvement in the scenario, Chisti said. Mehmood also said that he had drugged his family members and then killed them with a hammer and a bone cutter.

Mehmood added that he had hired labourers and had them dig up the floor of a room in the house where he buried all seven bodies. He then hired a mason and had the floor repaired. The accused told his neighbours and relatives that his family had left to preach Islam in DI Khan. He then obtained fraudulent accident slips for the deceased from the Nishtar Hospital and finally obtained death certificates from the union council. The accused told journalists that he was ready to face any punishment for his offence and would bequeath his property to a religious school after his death.

i was watching the Documentry to this on TV on which the Guys admits he did it for Money to Fund his addictions!
