thats really tough. she sacrificed her family? instead of forcing a change of religion, she should try to make baby steps with her bf and put forth all the attractive things in her religion, and the things that are in align with her bfs personality/beliefs already. if you dont mind, what is the major difference between them two?

She's srilankan Christian & he's Hindu. She's told her family about him they are cool. The guys family knows of the girl but they have never really said anything positive. She quit uni last year and got back into her final year this year, right now is exam period & now she's obviously quit again because of this

But before looking towards the future a guy & girl should sit back and evaluate everything before getting into a relationship, as there's no guarantee things will work out. Where as if people are a little more open and realistic at the beginning you'd know what you're letting yourself into.

I think a mixture of both is a good mix. Even if your family intro you to someone you obviously have plenty of time to figure out the person, to form a better judgement & decide whether they are yay or nay.
