So, for some reason, I thought this past sunday was mother's day. Yesterday, I got out of clinic and thought, "oh crap! I didnt call my mom for mothers day!". So I call and left a message, "Hi mummy, happy belated mothers day, sorry I wasnt able to call you yesterday! I love you! bye."

So right now, I noticed I have a voicemail. It was my mother.

"Ok, hi Ligi. This mummy. You call me yesterday vish me happy mothers day. Mothers day NEXT sunday! Ok, thank you! I know you no call me othervise."

Im such an idiot.

I did that with my mom too. Except I didn't call 'cause well I live with her. I got her a gift. And she was like "yeh kis khushi mein?" and I thought she was just being her usual sarcastic self but then my brother told me that it's next Sunday.
I celebrated mother's day early in my confusion
