FACT 1:

You never really stop and think about this one but it is so true.
It makes us stop and realize the perspective.

a.. Funny how a $100 "looks" so big when taken to a mosque, but so small
when taken to the mall.


b.. Funny how long it takes to serve God for an hour, but how quickly a
team plays 60 minutes of football.


c.. Funny how long a couple of hours spent at the mosque seem, but how
short they are when watching a movie.

d.. Funny how people can't think of Anything to say when they pray,but
don't have difficulty thinking of things to talk about to a friend.

e.. Funny how people get thrilled when a baseball game goes extra
innings, but complain when a khutba is longer than the regular
time.

r.. Funny how hard it is to read a chapter in the Qur'aan, but how easy
it is to read 100 pages of a best selling novel.

g.. Funny how people want to get a front seat at any game or concert,
but scramble to sit in the back of a mosque.

h.. Funny how people need 2 or 3 weeks advance notice to fit a muslim
event into their schedule, but can adjust their schedule for other
events at the last moment.

i.. Funny how hard it is for people to learn the simple knowledge,well
enough to tell others, but how simple it is for the same people to
understand and repeat gossip.

j.. Funny how people believe what the newspaper says,but question
what the Qur'aan says.

k.. Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have
to believe, think, say or do anything.


l.. Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they
spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding
Allah, people think twice about sharing.


FACT 2:

Think deeply when reading this...

I asked ALLAh to take away my pride.

ALLAH said "NO. IT IS NOT FOR ME TO TAKE AWAY BUT FOR YOU TO GIVE UP."


I asked ALLAH to make my handicapped child whole.

ALLAH SAID "NO. HER SPIRIT IS WHOLE, HER BODY IS ONLY TEMPORARY."

I asked ALLAH to grant me patience.

ALLAH SAID "NO. PATIENCE IS A PRODUCT OF TRIBULATIONS; IT ISN'T

GRANTED, IT IS EARNED.


I asked ALLAH to spare me pain.

ALLAH SAID, "NO. SUFFERING DRAWS YOU APART FROM WORLDLY CARES,

AND BRINGS YOU CLOSER TO ME.

I asked ALLAH to give me happiness.

ALLAH SAID, NO. I GIVE YOU BLESSINGS, HAPPINESS IS UP TO YOU.

I asked ALLAH to make my spirit grow.

ALLAH SAID, "NO. YOU MUST GROW ON YOUR OWN, BUT I WILL PRUNE YOU TO

MAKE YOU FRUITFUL.

I asked for all the things that i might enjoy in life.

ALLAH SAID, "NO. I WILL GIVE YOU LIFE SO YOU MAY ENJOY ALL THINGS."

I asked ALLAH to help me love others, as much as he loves me.

ALLAH SAID, "AAAHHHH...FINALLY YOU HAVE THE IDEA!"

What if ALLAH couldn't take the time to bless us today because we couldn't
take the time to thank HIM yesterday?

What if ALLAh decided to stop leading us tomorrow?

What if ALLAH didn't walk with us today because we failed to recognize it as
hIs day?

What if ALLAH took away his message because we failed to listen to his
messenger?

What if ALLAH stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love
and care for others?

What if ALLAH would not hear us today because because we would not listen
to him yesterday?

What if ALLAH answered our prayers the way we answer his call to service?


FACT 3:
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold onto it by
worrying about it. Instead, focus on all the wonderful things that are
present in your life now.

If you find yourself stuck in traffic; Don't despair. There are people
in this world for whom driving is an unheard of privilege.

Should you have a bad day at work; Think of the man who has been out
of work for years.

Should you despair over a relationship gone bad; Think of the person
who has never known what it's like to love and be loved in return.

Should you grieve the passing of another weekend; Think of the woman
in dire straits, working twelve hours a day, seven days a week to feed
her children.

Should your car break down, leaving you miles away from assistance;
Think of the paraplegic who would love the opportunity to take that walk.

Should you notice a new gray hair in the mirror; Think of the cancer
patient in chemo who wishes she had hair to examine.

Should you find yourself at a loss and pondering what is life all
about, asking what is my purpose? Be thankful. There are those who didn't
live long enough to get the opportunity.

Should you find yourself the victim of other people's bitterness,
ignorance, smallness or insecurities; Remember, things could be worse. You
could be one of them!

Should you decide to spread this word to a friend; Thank you, you may have
touched their life in ways you will never know!

and in response to the orignal, mabey its because our religion is verry boring and not intouch with youth
theres only a few khudbas ive been to where the imam has really gotten my attention, so they should really look into preaching to youth in a diffrent vibe

The cartoon was obviously made to incite some type of reaction from the Muslim community, and unfortunately certain Muslims went to far in terms of death threats because it just further incites more of the same from people since they see that it gets a rise from Muslims.

It's analagous to the "Satanic Verses" situation. All the attention gave a somewhat unknown writer worldwide fame.

Like a screaming toddler, if you ignore their tantrums and crys for attention, they will eventually stop.

Actually its not the religion which is boring and not in touch with the youth rather its the preachers and imams who are so orthodox in their thinking that they make islam really hard for the youth.If u listen to some really good scholars who bring the real meaning of islam u will find out that its not islam which creates the problem its the way peopletwist the verses and make it hard for themselves
