The alarm went off at the CAPITOL BUILDING today and i witnessed it.

so we had a AP government field trip today at the capital. we were at the basement of the house having lunch when the alarm goes off and all these security guard starts running. i was like yes...finally i will get to see some piece of action. suddenly, however, everyone gets up and and starts running towards the nearest exist. our class however, stands there and takes everything in very quietly. and then our guide says "alright lets go." so he takes us to this exist and i realized how dangerous the plan of the building is. we literally had to wait like 20 minutes to evacuate the fucking building...and that too without any sort of panic. i later find out that there was smoke coming out of the pantry room or something.

but anyway they really need to work on their narrow underground hallways and their exits. they suck

Rofl speaking of bomb threats. Last Monday a senator was visiting at my college and some dumbass calls in a bomb threat.

We don't know. It wasnt a big deal for me lol though. I was in London when there were the bombings a few years ago, just a few streets away from kings cross. But because of the threat, classes were cancelled for the rest of the day

thats nothing....our school was closed the next day when the world trade center tower sank by that stupid tidal wave. however. we just stayed home and did some thinking.
