Post CD Reviews by Yours Truly...[don't jock my styLe!]

Just thought it'd be cool to give my thoughts and reviews and sort of "critique" new CD's that have hit the scene or are comming soon.... I will do my best to update it as much as possible and provide latest reviews for you....

1)Nas - Hip Hop Is Dead [The N] ... Highly anticipated CD by QB's lyrical warrior... After his previous album not getting as much publicity and respect he got from his previous albums, Nas took a break but came back with some siiiiick tracks. I heard tracks off the album and quite frankly, it is a pure hiphop enthusiast dream come true and something you will definitely appreciate. From Nas' authentic street poetry combined with rugged beats produced by top notch producers such as Scott Storch an Will.I.Am and guest appearences by big names in the industry such as Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Busta Rhymes, Rakim and so forth... the QB's veteran emcee known for his sly punchlines and amazing vocal delivery is back like he never left and even though HipHop might be "dead"... Nas most certainly isn't.

Rating: *5 Out of 5*

2) The Game - Doctor's Advocate So they thought The Game was done, over, finished WITHOUT 50 and Dre?! Definitely NOT.... The Game returns on the scene with his sophmore album, Doctor's Advocate and he proved the haters wrong. I heard majority of the tracks and the beats are sick, his flow's on point and it's an overall classic. The Album' s top tracks include "One Blood" and "Let's Ride [strip club]" yet other tracks such as "The Illest" and my favorite on the CD... "Doctor's Advocate" featuring Busta Rhymes are great. In "Doctor's Advocate"... The Game talks about how big of an influence Dr. Dre has been on him and how he feels about leaving Aftermath and such. If you like hiphop in it's finest form, definitely get this album... You will NOT regret it!

Rating: *4.5 out of 5*

3) Snoop Dogg - The Blue Carpet Treatment The Big Dogg is back with yet another LP to add to his collection of top sellers. This album is unique in styles, sounds and how Snoop put it down. Alot of guest appearences as well such as B-Real, E-40, Dogg Pound, R. Kelly and so forth... Primarily the track s that got people's attention for this album have to be "Vato" "That's That" and "I Wanna Love You" featuring Akon. Pretty good album with that unique Snoop sound and versatility!

Rating: *4 out of 5*

4) Eminem Presents.... The Re-Up! Guess who's back... back again? lol you guessed it, Slim Shady returns with yet another album... The Re-Up. The Album is not so much a solo project, because it features most of the artists from the Shady Record Camp and Gunit as well. Overall, the tracks are pretty good... hey it's 50 and Em ... what do you expect?! The CD features ALOT of artists such as 50Cent, Lloyd Banks, Obie Trice, Stat Quo, Ca$his... eTc. Personally, my favorite track on the CD has to be "No Apologies" by Eminem... it's just a very well put track and his lyrics and delivery really convey the point well... I'm not a HUGE fan of Eminem but I think this album has featured some of his best work yet...

Rating: *4 out of 5*

5) Fat Joe - Me, Myself and I Joey Crack is Braaackkk on the scene with his new album entitled "Me, Myself and I"... Even though the title may seem like it was picked up by a song title by Beyonce *hint hint*... The album is Fat Joe's best effort yet. Key singles to look out for on this album are "Make It Rain" "Breathe and Stop" featuring The Game and last but not least "Get The Hell On With That" featuring Ludacris. I haven't heard TOO much from this album but the songs that I have, they just prove that people get better with time and with production by Super producer Scott Storch, Nu Jerzy Devil and so forth... How could you possibly go strong along with 10 deep in the game?!

Rating *4 out of 5*

That's all for now... If I find any other album worth mentioning... I'll be sure to post reviews if I get time...
