I got a wedding invitation

It's huge. the bride and groom even had custom made postage with their photo on it. It cost more than a dollar to mail out. Huge.
When I opened it though, it smelled like mothballs.

i got a wedding invitation once, it came in a wooden box and it had sweets inside it, so yeah pretty expensive.

we went to the wedding expecting it to be a lavish affair and it was crap, the food was shit, the hall they booked for the party was shit..it was the crappiest wedding i have ever been to.

moral of the story: fancy card doesnt mean good wedding, just a few words of caution

Are you stupid? Almost all wedding invites cost more than a dollar to mail out. And putting your pic on the postage is standard now. Just wait till you start getting the ones with a silver coin on it. Youll have a heartattack.

we got one once that like rolled out....it was red velvet with gold glittery writing

was so damm tacky
and the glitter got everywhere

Most likely, it was printed up in India/Pakistan. Thats what paper there smells like. Its the same smell thats in a brand new Sari. They cost like $2 to print up. Its damn cheap

no, this is a hindu wedding. The invitation isn't a traditional red ink on offwhite paper tho.
