Whats with Pakistani weddings having the men and women feasting in two separate halls?

Also, ever noticed in most weddings dancing is like 'dissaproved of?

I've also discovered many weddings where men can dance but women just go there and sit on chairs (and eat). Thats it.

Nowadays having dj's at paki weddings is quite the norm. Dancin infront of the men is accepted too. People have started to make more of an effort with their weddings.. well we got our first close fam wedding coming up in less than 3 weeks.. ders definately plenty of dancin goin on our mehndis etc..

Come to a wedding in karachi. Men and women sit without segregation. Heck girls and guys even dance together, there's even dance floors set up specifically. The dancing is usually on the mehndi and the mayoo and shit.
