the guy from bride and prejudice had a SIGNIFICANT role in lost, one of the best series on tv now.
ppl like naseerruddin shah, om puri, shabana azmi, etc have all been in major

there's a new movie comin out w/ sushmita sen, randeep hooda, neve cambell, and rober deniro's daughter called: karma, confessions and holi.
first ever bollywood/hollywood co-production...
marigold is a salman khan movie w/ ali larter w/ a hollywood director.
shashi kapoor, in the 60's made like SOO MANY hollywood movies... as the leading man... but ppl 2day dunno bout em...

certain desis have made it, and have done so almost 30 years ago, most ppl just don't know how far...

it's not like i dont want to, so dont get me wrong here, i'll b just as pleased as u seeing sum desis represent the pride...there's still a lotta obstacles to overcome i guess

its sad, but yea ur right... but its not why ppl think tho...
everyone thinks dat its racism or bs... but if dat was the case then big ass brown directors like shekhar kapur, mira nair wudnt be SO respected in hollywood...
and mira nair and deepa mehta, besides indian are also big time women directors as well.... how many of those r there in hollywood?

sometimes its cuz indian actors and talent dunt WANT to go to hollywood... theres guys like amitabh bachchan, john abraham, etc.. dat dont want to go... despite having the talent...
but otherwise, hollywood has seen nuff indian actors and talent do films there... but its not alwys the mainstream heros that indian ppl know about....

even a. r. rahman had bombay dreams on broadway! AND he was one of de guys dat did de music for lord of the rings the musical ...

i'm studyin film and broadcastin...but just love indian movies, so know a bit bout de industry
