...here. I'll start. My niece hates bugs. She even freaks out if she sees a piece of lint that looks like a bug. She goes "A bug!" and proceeds to blow it away like it's a birthday candle.

I have to admit. I did put pieces of lint near her constantly awhile ago..

one day, while we were visiting my bro and his family in canada, my mom yelled at my nephew for something (he was still a baby like a lil more or less than a year) and my mom went to go iron clothes and every so often, my nephew would look for her and run in the other direction. at one point, my mom saw him looking around the corner and he his face turned red. . .it was the most adorable thing to see

I have very clear memories of my youngest brothers growing up and can kids say the darnest things.

my baby brother started going to nursery school when he was 3 and most of the students in his class at the time were girls. my mother used to dress him up every morning in his white polo shirt, white briefs and corduroys. one morning, though, he sheepishly but adamently refused to wear his briefs. my mother was pretty surprised by this sudden change in attitude and started coaxing him to fess up on what was bothering him.

he finally gave in and said, in an as-a-matter-of-fact tone, "boys don't wear underwear. only girls do. I saw it in class."

my baby cousin used to call pistachio's - "naachindaas"

if my lil bro saw two trucks on the high way...he'd go "ooo two two tuck!"

and if he saw the truck that had only the front part and no carrier part behind...he'd say "baji, naanga tuck" (~~> naked truck)

when i was growing up....... i had my guy cousins and bros to grow up with... and they all spoke urdu obviously with the male verbs and stuff... so when i was younger, id talk as if i were a male
