Vegas: Sin City... to move or not to move?

been planning to move to vegas for the past couple of weeks...

cant decide.

good: i'll prolly land a job that pays $3,500+ a month. Apartments worth about $300 (rent + utility) + shopping expenses = i still walk out with $$$$

bad: parents dont approve.

vegas seems pretty trashy, which means id enjoy it for a vacation but the novelty would wear off fast if i actually lived there, apparently you can get just about anything free there too especially food

whatre you gonna do thatll get you 3500/month?

vegas is a good stepping stone, cheap rent lots of jobs/opportunities.

Yeah go for it. Vegas isnt that far from sactown. My cousin lived there and said the city is just normal other than the strip. Dunno if you are gonna be working on the strip. I would say nightlife is a bit shitty. I mean its different cos everyone is on holiday, rather than somewhere like miami, SF etc. Nightlife is more for tourists rather than locals.

Also almost all desi there are profs rather than your riff raff. And there not that many in case you wanna avoid them.
