4 muslim men praying next to a ventalation fan in a giant stadium looks pretty damn suspicious....thats not profiling.....thats called good security..especially when things arent the norm...and 4 guys praying next to a ventalation fan aint normal

as for the sikhs getting arrested on the NY Tour Bus...again....some passengers complained and off duty officer took action....again...its better to be safer then sorry

besides...those sikh guys were apologized to from the mayor to the govenor...and they said they would be coming back in during Christmas lol


end of the day these guys got cleared and released...end of story

why the hell would you pray at a stadium, of all the places in the world. if it was so important, you shouldve stayed home and watched the game on TV. i'm not saying it was right to detain them for praying under the vent, but you really cant blame them in a time like this.

what cunard is trying to say ( i think ) is that shit happens and people get murdered. happens all around the world and has nothing to do with racial profiling. you cant really scream that every homicide of a south asian person is racially motivated.

i really dont see how you're connecting the WTC attacks, war in iraq and the earthquake to this.

you must live in some backwoods redneck place to get racial slurs taunted at you. i dont think i've ever had anything like that happen to me and i've been here for a loooooooooooong time.

if i go to an airport to board a plane, i really dont mind them making me go through the extra bagcheck area because of a "random check". i'd rather be safe than sorry. you gotta give up a few civil liberties at a time like this. having a beard would probably increase your chance of a "random check" by 100% heh. (no, i dont have a beard, nor am i religious).

if you do something that's very out of the norm (like praying under a vent in a football stadium....), expect to be treated suspiciously.
