There are several theories on two thousand twelve.
It's actually surprising how many people believe the world will end. They only believe so because the Mayans only made predictions upto twenty twelve and none after.
However I don't believe its going to be the end of the world I DO believe something major could happen (ofcourse that can apply to anytime anywhere). Apparantly two thirds of the worlds population will be wiped out
The Mayans say this type of a thing takes place every three thousand six hundred years or so, Then ofcourse theres a whole other scientific theory regarding "planet x" and it's gravitational pulls.

As a muslim, I don't believe it will be the end of the world because the Quran states we won't know exactly when judgement day will be& judgement day will not arrive as long as there is even one believer left alive. We await the arrival of Al-Mahdi.

The reasons I haz problems with it are...


1) Most men including myself don't have a shoe fetish and frankly I find anyone who does disturbing.. :ugh:
2) It doesn't repeal your fob status- if you're a fob and you wear heels it just makes you a fob with heels so quit hiding your face and talking pics of your heels..
3) It does not up the ante of your style nor does it make you "cooler"- Oo look at my 5 inch heels... I'm short and stubby but my heels are cool..
4) I don't want to look at your decorated feet only to find out at the top lies an ugly ogre..

Unless you're one of the few who can pull off the big heel look, please stop. Chances are if you look good in heels you'll take full pictures of yourself in heels and not just pictures of your heels.

Over the past year or two, my whole perspective about marriage has changed. I use to be extremely against arranged marriages, but now, im actually considering it. I felt like through a "love" marriage I would get to know the person for a while and it would all be good (happily ever after). Thing is, you can't really ever know a person. lol. People change too! So whats the point? The "love" probably only lasts a few years. Yea there are a few couples who get to experience love for a whole life time, but thats rare, and espesically in this time and age. "Love doesn't fail, we fail love". Why would i run after a guy i love, to marry me, whos going to skrew me over anyways. I would rather marry a guy whos willing to marry me, and i will learn to love him. And if i also get skrewed over this way, it won't be my fault. :)

My opinion: Illegals have it pretty good right now, and I think that this is a bad idea. Free school, healthcare, and food. Sure, they cant have proper, legal jobs in the US - but does it really matter? I dont think that most illegal immigrants have a chance of getting one of those high paying jobs even if they were legal. Also, by doing this, illegals are going to start requesting higher salaries for the crappy jobs that they do now - or, they will go on unemployment/welfare/etc.

BRITISH Muslim women are having “virginity repair” operations on the NHS so their bridegrooms cannot tell they have had sex.



Doctors have revealed a surge in the number of women booking themselves in for the controversial 30-minute procedure just before they get married.



Health authority rules say women can have the operations for “physical and psychological” reasons.


And figures show that taxpayers have paid for 116 hymenoplasty procedures on the NHS between 2005 and last year.



But hundreds more are refused the NHS treatment.



And they are so frightened their future husbands will find out they’ve had sex, they are paying up to £4,000 for private surgery.



Muslim brides are under huge pressure to be “pure” when they marry so their husbands can take their virginity on the wedding night.

Many women give doctors false names and addresses and some are even buying chastity certificates to “prove” they are virgins.



Some young women and their families have been publicly shamed or even killed if a husband suspects his bride has had sex before.



One clinic in Harley Street, London, said demand for hymenoplasty ops had tripled in recent months.



Consultant gynaecologist Dr Magdy Hend, performs the op for £1,850 a time.



He said: “In the past, we would do one or two hymen reconstruction operations a week. Sometimes now, we get two or three women a day wanting it.



“Demand has tripled. And the majority of our clients are Muslim women.



“They worry about having had sex and their fiancé and family knowing they have been touched before. The woman fears the husband will divorce or humiliate her. There have been honour killings in extreme cases.



“It is simple surgery that takes half-an-hour. They can have it done at lunchtime and do not have to give their real names.



“They are paying up to £4,000 at other clinics.”



Imam Dr Taj Hargey, chairman of the Muslim Educational Centre in Oxford, said: “The rise in the number of these operations in Britain is a very disturbing trend.



“It is very disappointing Muslim women in this country feel they need to lead a double life, resorting to subterfuge surgery.”
