i agree that people's personalities are different online. i've met several people from RateDesi, I've lost track since there've been so many. every single one of them have turned out much cooler than i expected them to be. let me name some good examples: mo, shibani, omar (emoncrew), wylin247, rocke, syed, shri

i dont like desi people too much (except for the people on the forums :D ) but i'd feel much more secure meeting someone for the first time if they were desi rather than some hispanic person

someone would need to coordinate and be the contact person since i wont be there. plus u nj ppl give ideas on locations.
