I wouldn't be surprised if anyone already posted about this a million times. But what's with girls going for the older guys? I'm not talking about 20 year olds hooking up with 70 year olds, I mean like a Sophomore going for the Senior etc. See, there's this one girl on campus that I didn't get around to talking to this year, and I don't really regret it either. She's been coming up into my mind a lot, and I realized that being the same age as her isn't going to be working to my advantage. Now that's fine, whatever, but I really want to know WHY I'm going to be fighting an uphill battle before I start. Why do girls go for the older guys? Are they really that much more mature, or do they just have cash, connections, etc? As far as I can tell we're on the same plane.

Anyone in here 19 or 20, and feel like telling me how it is? I think some of the people that replied are in HS, things change, I need someone real close to my age to give me an answer. Is it the same in college?

not to be conceited....but older guys are more mature generally. i use to be ur age and now i am older and have more experience..on top of that older guys are more loyal and less likely to cheat anyways....also overall they have more money, since most are out of college and work full-time jobs....

college is much more mature then high school. its a big change...but there is a big difference from a 18 year old freshman then a 22-25 year old senior...definately not on the same page......

so .. you want an older brother type of figure in your man? o_o
sounds more like a sense of security founded on the guy's presumed experience...
which makes enough sense since girls my age and younger are going through the same relationship troubles that older guys i know are going through (in terms of relationships) because... the younger girls are dating the older guys (and vice-versa) -.- lol
