i have one in use, still working, haven't topped it up and get free txt messages every month...although gave it to my family member as i have free texts on my line anyway. i have 3 more o2 sims :Pelvic2:

u talking bout the normal free 300 txts sim or u got some other thing?

i'm talking about the same sim (pay as you go) - but you don't top up - on this one, if you top up it stops working :p ...but u can have extra sims that u don't top up and use for txting only if u want.

all you have to do is get a brand new o2 sim, activate it by calling 248 and entering the 19 code number on the back of the sim (this is an automated service). when you've finished this, just hang up and you should now have free txting without topping up. I think this service stops if you top up.

i've had it working for about 2-3 weeks now, but i know someone whos had it for a few months, and hear about a lot of other people using this technique aswell :p

you need a new o2 sim though, which can usually get for free from the o2 site as they give them away for free a lot of times :lol:

turns out you can still do this if you top and stuff...i didn't read it completely before as i stopped when mine worked. also, you have to do it every month :giggle:
