Whoa...nice specs on the car! Anyway, car had Tein RA's on, I waited until I could drive her ok since the stock suspension was pretty good. Just rode a bit tough with the RA's. I didn't want to add the JDM "H" since they wanted 140 bucks for original ones (didn't want to throw on the cheapo 10 dollar knock offs that you get at all the shops.) Just dispised the four eyed look of the headlamps before the JDM front end so it had to go for sure. Also, I wanted OEM HIDs since it came on 98 spec and above and got a good deal on that.

not bad that blue altima i had was pushing 14.1/99mph on the 1/4 mile my RT is 0.580 But your RT dosn't mater the clock for the 1/4 mile starts after you pass the line so your R/T has no effect on your car's 1/4 time. The biggest thing on the 1/4 is your 60ft times, Road courses are mad fun, alot more skill required, i used to AutoX b4

What mods you got? an what's you accual 1/4 time.

I'm have to call BS on this one sadly, 17s=120mph ok, now a 12sec 1/4 mile car will reach the end at about 120mph, now that would push your car's 1/4 mile time into the 14s or 15s which would be about 200-240HP in a Eclipse/Talon. Sorry no 580HP

with that much hp from upgraded turbos, you'd need dyno tuning for sure A/F timing etc etc... AND you'd know what you were making, NOT somewhere around 580... Post up dyno graphs why you DON"T have. I can tell your BSing just by the tone of your email...

yeah foo my speedometer does go pass 145 cause i got two nos tank in it!!
with a Supra Engine from Japan foo yeah it go passes that 145 now who feel saulty now and on my speedometer goes up to 180. yeah i might of got less sec for the 120 but i dident have performance tires at that time i had 15" and that tires are only can take like about 100 and 110mph at the max so i pulled it off but taking some air out of my tires before doing that on a strate long ass road and oh yeah this guy i met, his supra had 800HP and how u ganna say i dont have 580HP foo's. And yeah i got caught with the cops that day too it was almost 400am, and yeah i went to jail for careless driving and my mom was pissed but she bailed me out and then i had to take all my nos and all out of it but the cops they took it some where and took is out. and now its only like torbo with no nos but its still fast so now they have a real good eye on my ass!! and oh yeah my they also gave my a ticket for that shit too haha. :cry: :wink: 8) but its all good now 3months gone by so its all good. To make it go faster, can't you just change the gearing for the Final drive ratio? Most would want something more usual from 0-100 mph, top speed is for the exotics to 'advertise' or unless you race at indy style oval tracks (which I doubt that guy would do anyway)

I had a 75% full tank on regular 89 octane wit the spare tire and all my college books still in the trunk. I raced my friend a week later (who ran a 17.3##) when I got a full tank of 94 octane and I had him by about 6 inches. Anyways, what kinda car u runnin and what mods do you have? My car's not fast but I should at least be doin about 17.2. Hopefully, I can pull off gettin a 96-98 240sx soon which range from $6k-$8.5k.

nice you should go for the 240sx alot you can do to one. I got my deposit on a S13 tring to come up with the rest. How do you launch your car off the line? might be able to cut off more then a tenth, you should try to get your 60ft times cut which isn't easy.

my 60' times were pretty good, i forgot what they were tho. i'll go check my timeslips again. i would stay side to side with B16 civics and some jettas at the track till i hit 3rd gear, then they'd dust me. 240s are finally becomin popular, i always loved em. RWD import car for $7.5k avg, c'mooon now, can't ask for much more :lol:

Thanks man...trying to keep it ANTIRICE...the LX pulls low to mid 17's depending on the reaction time...the EX pulls low 16's even high 15's sometimes...totally depends on the driver and oh yeah the VTEC is good to have...i have a SOHC Non-VTEC so i'm not really looking to race everywhere but hey i'm impressed with the handling power this lil car has...I can outrun V6's and V8's sometimes on the freeway

when i got my car i had to sign a contract with my parents...no accidents no tickets no racing...lol i wouldn't race neways cuz my bro was racing his 95 200sx and he lost control and the other guy lost control and both cars got totaled...both my bros used to street race once inna while.. this one guy in a prelude from my school wanted to race me and i only got it up to 60 cuz i was on my phone and i forgot to shift to 5th lol racing and girls don't mix...one i made a right turn in 4th cuz i forgot to shift down nd i started to cry cuz my trans would get messed up lol..
oh emon my parents notice everything my dad pops the hood once a week to make sure i don't make any upgrades...man my dad is tough he knows everything about cars and mods...one mod and its over.

nice. my friend owns a 1988 300zx. it's red with a glass t-top. he's runnin 325 hp rite now with a J-Spec engine n other mods. the guy literally did everythin to the car himself. he swapped the engine in alone, changed the gear ratios himself n pretty much everythin else too.

he says he's gonna jus gimme this Civic TypeR head he has in December but i think he's jus bs'ing. nevertheless, the guy's a car nut.

Anyways, our family owns hotels so we are pretty much self employed. Both cars are AMG, the C32 is a V6 with a superchager, the CLK55 is a N/A V8, the C32 has only appearance mods (hence showcar) the CLK55 is soon to be shipped off to Brabus for something bigger to lurk under the engine. talking 500hp range :)
