if someone owed me money, but they couldnt afford to pay it back I'd probably relieve their debt. or at least tell them they could pay it back anytime and not charge interest. Interest is whats killing all third world countries these days, most cannot even afford to pay just the interest every year, let alone the debt. the least the G8 countries can do is make the debt of African countries interest free.
