For me it's got to be:

Where The Wild Things Are
http://images.amazon.com/images/G/covers/0/06/443/178/0064431789.l.gif

That book was DOPE!
The author must have been smoking some real good shit when he wrote it

:D lol

I'm convinced that all picture books written and illustrated by authors before 1990 were all pot-heads.

There was this other book I used to love but cant remember the title, but it used to go something like this...

...in the dark, dark house there was a dark, dark corridor. And at the end of the dark, dark corridor there were some dark, dark stairs. And at the top of the dark, dark stairs there was a dark, dark door...

And at the end of the book there was some freaky ass black cat that jumps out from behind the door. I think :sarb:

Nothing can be compared to the lift-up-flapmeister Spot The Dog.

Not Now Bernard is a literary classic comparable to Tolstoy and Dicken's best work.

^^ Bloody hell, I vaguely kind of remember that book :o

This was also one of my favorites:
http://www.fiona.co.jp/images/PICTURE_BOOK/KINDERGARTEN/ANGRY_ARTHUR.jpg

The character in the story destroys the entire world just by the sheer force of energy created by his inner rage.

Can't remember how it ends though but I remember a part where he's sitting on a floating sofa and looks around at the destruction his emotion has created. That was some DEEP shit right there

HurryPuther, I never really got the chance to read the Spot books properly coz the class bully always made it clear that those books belonged to him
