Just got back from a small show put on by the infamous RJD2 and if you thought listening to 'dead ringer' on your I-pod was sick enough, buddy you ain't heard nothing. 4 turntables, 1 drum machine, the man of the hour himself RJ, and some of the most precise and almost surgical DJing I've ever witnessed. The 1st question that comes to mind is, where the fuck are his headphones? This guy is hardcore like Gwackjaw McGraw; fuck what ya heard you ain't heard this before. The entire set was sickness, from start to finish. RJ is definitely up there with Shadow, Kool Keith, Pete Rock and the rest of them cats, keepin' hip hop alive in a world of generic commercial nonsense. ‘Cause honestly, who gives a fuck, who Mike Jones is?
