Best SUPER-HERO Movie

So far, what do you guys feel has been the greatest super-hero movie? :sarb: When making your decision, consider the following:

a) Does it hold true to the comic book? :dance3:
b) How is the dramatic appeal? Do you feel for the protagonist? :dance3:
c) Has it been done in a way that doesn't look ridiculous in live action on screen? :dance3:

I personally like the Blade series. David S. Goyer did a beautiful job bringing the Day-Walker to life in a world that is believable and similar to our own. :D

i agree. the hulk totally wasnt meant for the big screen. but it was a worthy attempt. it culd have looked a lot worse. like the one in the live-action TV show.

Got Superman & Xmen collections... (YES I do like comics... say wot u want).... X-men, Superman, and Batman is only movies that has taste if da comics..... Hulk... they jus fu*K da comics up on the last one...1978 one was much better....... others no comments ;) ;)

lol, definatly Spider-Man too. the Spider-Man franchise, X-Men franchise, and the new Batman franchise are the only 3 that have got it completely right. and the poll results of this thread proove that as well. however i do have a personal liking to Blade, but he's not as well know as those other guys. lol, hopefully Fantastic Four will be good too. that opens up pretty soon.

I like the Superman movies - mainly because I'm a huge Superman fan - but if you watch them now, you're just gonna laugh at how cheesy they are. Like he goes back in time and throws "S"s at people. It's weird, man. Nonetheless 1 and 2 are great movies and they're a part of pop culture now so you gotta watch them anyway.

I'm keepin a lookout for Superman Returns, comin 2006 with Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth and former X-Men director Bryan Singer.

It's gonna be hot.

Other than that, I like the Batman series (up until Batman Forever). The Spider-man series is aite, but I just don't like the character. He's too much of a whiny loser. The movies were ok, they just made a lot of money because it's the first time the character was given the movie treatment. Batman Begins is a way better movie.

yea, i'll definatly check out the Superman movies one day. I have the whole summer coming up, I'll rent them all one weekend. How many are there? And yea, the new Superman movie should be awesome. Bryan Singer is a wicked director. He did such an excellent job with the X-Men movies, I don't know if they could be any better.

I see we also have the same taste in Batman movies. I only like Batman, Batman Returns, and Batman Begins. Batman Forever and Batman & Robin were an embarassment to the franchise. And i definatly agree, Batman Begins surpassed Spider-Man as the overall best super-hero movie. it just went so much deeper than spider-man ever did.
