The Haiku Thread...

Your Haiku must contain a total of 17 syllables...

line 1 = 5 syllables
line 2 = 7 syllables
line 3 = 5 syllables

You should aim to write true poetry, but you can write anything you want really (no matter how obscure, surreal or idiotic) just as long as you stick to the rule.

Here's my first effort. This is true poetry inspired by the humid heat of summertime...

It rides up my crack,
Evil underpants of doom
Cling around my sack.

Here's another one from me... I call it 'Everything is...'. The true nature of this haiku is only revealed when reading it out aloud in a west country cornish accent :yes:
