He's definatly one of the greatest actors of our generation, and to commemorate the start of his new life without Jennifer Aniston and the release of his new movie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, we'll all share our favorite Brad Pitt movies :)

My overall favorite is definatly Fight Club. But he deserves a nod for 12 Monkeys and Snatch as well.

FINE!! I'll pretend to be someone else and reply to myself!

*Jay's Alter-Ego*: There's no doubt that his role in 12 Monkeys was definatly one of his more difficult ones, but in Interview With The Vampire he was just plain kool!

*The Real Jay*: SHUT UP!! You don't know what you're talking about! That movie was shit. Even Ocean's Twelve and Troy were better than that!

oh ok..U really think Pitt is a good actor? i mean he's decent and whatnot, but being one of the best of our generation is pushing it, no?

well depends what you count as our generation. where do u cut it off? do u count Robert De Niro and Al Pacino in our generation?? cuz those guy's made sum great movies in the late 70s and early 80s. If so, Brad Pitt ranks lower than these guys. i mean, Brad Pitt's great movies started coming out in the late 80s and 90s.

Johnny Depp i agree with. maybe not Leo. he's not as versatile as Brad. Brad has a wider range.

:Puke: lol, but yes, there is no denying he's a good looking guy. haha, which i think hurts him as an actor cuz i'm one of the few that actually appreciates his work, but most appreciate his looks. but hey, its seems to be working for him. lol :p

i didnt think he was that great until i saw 12 Monkeys. definatly watch it! you'll change ur mind after seeing what a difficult role he pulled off in that. after i saw that, he just seemed to have this on-screen presense that no other actor has.

ju talkin cracy. Johnny Depp is a great versatile actor check out, 'Whats Eating Gilbert Grape', 'Chocolat', 'Pirates of Caribbean', 'Edward Scissorhands', 'Donnie Brasco', 'Blow'....come on now?

besides that Tom Cruise is more of a better actor. and what about Sean Penn, Willem Dafoe, Bruce Willis, Chris Walken, Charlie Sheen, Jim Carrey, Denzel, Joe Pesci etc. etc.?

personally i think after seing 'Requiem For A Dream', Marlon Wayans has good potentials and no one is giving him a chance.

best actor of this generation is Johnny Depp.. maybe Edward Norton but he dont make many films...

As for Brad... his best film is the one that made him... Se7en.... and that was great cos of a brilliant direction and concept rather than great acting..

his best acting is prob 12 Monkeys..

personal favs are also Fight Club and I kinda like Meet Joe Black altho its too long...

lol, i DO AGREE with you on Johnny Depp. He is better than Brad Pitt and more versatile. Read my post again, I said Pitt was more versatile than LEO (Leo as in Leonardo Di Caprio) not Depp. Depp has done like every role there is.

Out of the list you gave in the second paragraph, I'd say Sean Penn and Denzel are better than Pitt. See, it's hard to compare people like Dafoe and Walken to Pitt because they get casted into very different roles, and you dont really have a common ground to base it on.

But i can definatly tell you Pitt is better than Willis. All Bruce Willis is good for is explosive action movies (Die hard, etc). He's not as good as sum of the other guys in dramatic roles. and I think Pitt is better than Joe Pesci, but i dont have much to base that on becuz i only saw one of his movies I can't really compare Pitt to Jim Carrey tho, cuz Pitt never plays a comedic role.

lol, i guess ur kinda rite. he is more of a great movie star than actor. i kinda blurred the two together for a bit. and i definatly agree with u on his best acting being in 12 Monkeys. i was very impressed by his role in that movie.

ur underestimating Leo and Jim Carrey. 'Sunshine of Spotless Mind'? and Leo has done mad movies man, most are indie. i mean alot of movies. did you see him 'Gilbert Grape' playing johnny depps retarded brother?

chris walken all i gotta say is the 'butch's dads watch travelling thru the war" scene in pulp fiction, that was classic.
