I support Liverpool, but in my opinion there certainly not the best team in England.. but to say that we'll be nothing but UEFA and League Cup challengers in 2 years is just ignorant.

Benitez said before the Champions' League Final that changes will be made at the end of the season, and Rick Parry has expressed the need to strengthen the squad for next season, pointing out rightly so that the league table doesn't lie.

What Benitez did this season in Europe was amazing with the team that we had, but you can tell he's frustrated at our performance in the league, far too inconsistent. We need a squad that can carry the mentality we showed in Europe into the league next season.

Players that we're definately intending to hold onto are Gerrard, Alonzo, Garcia, Morientes, Cisse and Carragher. Hamann, Hyypia and Riise are all exceptions..
