lol, have u guys hear tamil bhangra?? well i don't know if it technically qualifies as bhangra, but it has the same beat and feel... just in tamil. i'm telling you that shit is whacked. it sounds so raw. :dance3:

Werd. Punjabi music is more than bhangra we have ghazals, qawaalis and folk songs too.

But Bhangra is what most non-Punjabis know about. If you like bhangra dude I implore you to check out Dhol Beat International - Absolut Bhangra, one of the best bhangra compilation albums in recent memory.

I'll post some pics of my dhol that I got from punjab, its new and all. I don't exactly know how to play it well, but hey thats what the summer is for, right? Workin out, playing basketball and playing the dhol. If I can learn to play it correctly, who knows? I will upload some beats online.
