Downloading music

hey... well i was just wondering what everyone thinks about what the RIAA is doing to users that download music from Kazaa and other P2P networks around the world?

Lol What I do now is Ignore the American and European songs that are there for download. It's really serious stuff now. They aren't kidding. But they didn't say they have a problem with us downloading BHANGRA and Desi songs did thay :D. I just download them now and buy the rest. Ciao.

and as long as u dont let ppl download FROM you, the RIAA probably wont target you... they go after the big file traders.

downloading is NOT illegal...but sharing IS Illegal according to an article in the newspaper today.

I completely abdondoned Kazaa for now and i'm just waitin on the RIAA and seeing what they do, but basically this only applies to anyone who lives in america they can't sue ppl outside of America, anyone who shares files online in da U S of A, stop now for yer own good lol. Anyone who doesnt live here, share all you want and help us american desi bums out haha. But as it is, i dont use Kazaa Lite K++, which is what i had...i use "Ares" now. Its a nifty lil program i say :P

plus its kinda annoying on kazaa. when i tired to download fallen by evanescence, most of the mp3s on kazaa were .. well i dont know what u call it but had "scartchy" sounds like every 30 seconds, and it was really annoying. they seem to have that for most popular songs and stuff.

cheese...they put those versions out to deter dling...and if anyone knows what mirc is then you can dl damn near anything off it...its server based..not P2P

i download my sh1t from Mirc n DC++.... kazaa sucks... its got too many fake files.... n the RIAA r only targetin USA peeps.... lol...

LoL how true. I still download on Kazaa, MIRC, and DC++. At least one of the three will always have the file I'm lookin for.
