I tried all the win os past month. I was neglected to use them system in the past because of lack programs. I used linux but i think linux is over rated. I think about getting SGI or Solaris becase most of the thing i do is related to physics and Statics. any advice on systems

I bought 15 thousand euros worth of programs from MS for my brother who lives in china...he can't download from euro servers Its like present for his birthday which is today.
