I've been to Vancover, Calgray in Canada, and i have to say is the girls are hot, and it's much cleaner than the UK, the houses r bigger.

I was even thinking of moving to Canada in a couple of years time.

Yeah NYC was pretty fn awesome, but much dirtier and grittier than Toronto. If it wasn't for the cold, Toronto would definitely be better. They have a better and less elitist film society too. :P

Not just kinda dude, it's way dirty. You can really tell the difference between Toronto and NYC - just observe the subway. Having said that, NYC supposedely has more "culture" and that's probably true with all the damn museums.

Whatever you do, do not go to the Metropolitan Museum of Modern Arts.

It's full of shitty self absorbed no good abstract art. I had some pics but I'm at uni. There's one piece which is just a blue piece of canvas. That's all it is. A blue piece of canvas titled "Untitled".

alright, just a blue canvas, makes u think, if someone can do that and get paid makes me wanna be an artist.

Nothing as long as it's done well, but a lot of it is contrived and self absorbed bullshit. I don't see how they can claim that shit to be "art". Have you seen some of the more famous works of modern art? It's sad. What's sadder are the justifications and interpretations.

I know, and I really disagree with this. Art should speak for itself - it shouldn't need the explanation of the artist adjacent to it for it to be meaningful. I can draw a dot in the centre of a circle and make a crap load of meaning out of it, it doesn't mean I have any artistic merit though.

haha true but cant help it, no more real artists left in this world.

No way dude, there's SO much good material. Go to conceptart.org to check out some of the works there - there's plenty of good work to be found. The only reason abstract art is so popular these days is coz of the whole craze with post modernisms.

it depends on which way you read it, as i read it as a question asked which he answered, and then was also open to other people as well.

BTW i was just pointing out that i found it funny, so instead of getting defensive about it, which people who try to cover up mistakes, why not just laugh and agree or disagree and move on.
