Should there be a grace period after a breakup ?

Meaning that for a few months you stop talking to the ex and after you get over them, you can start talking to them?

or cut off all communication altogether and leave the past untouched ?

I think u should leave it for a while...cool off..move on..n perhaps in the future holla back at em n see how they r doin...
Dont be in their face n all...it causes old shit to stir up n then u gonna lose any chance of bein civil to each other in the future..

But wisely..once its over its over..u should really ..jus let it go n move on...

in most cases (95.5%) , when u break up with somebody, its obviously for a reason...there is no grace period. its forgetcha face period. if you break up with somebody and still like em', you're just torturing yourself, and most likely are sick in some kinda weird way. ...

depends how mad you both are, that determines the relationship afterwards..

but there is a lingering feeling between.

I agree...if you put yourself in the position to be around them, then old feelings WILL eventually stir up
