How can i get over a guy???

At high school i had so many crushes but one thing happened I was madly in love with this guy he was my very distant cousin although he aint my related cousin at all his parents was best friends with my parents so we see each other occasionally... anyway I was falling in love with him as the time goes by even though our parents doesnt know our feelings for each other...sometimes he doesnt talks to me cos my brother always there hukin up with him...that was 5 years ago now...he got married recently and he bringing his girl back in uk (he got married bk home in bangladesh) and am kinda not like get over him yet...He havin a party to show his wife off basically am invited along with my family how can i face up to him?? I need to show him that i am over him how do i do that?? thanks in advance!! am in dilemma these days!!

what the other guy said... even though its been five years, someone else is gonna come into ur life and maybe even hurt u again - the fact is... if someone doesnt feel for u how u feel for them... u should just tell urself over and over... why is he worth my pain and hurting if he's just off gettin married to some other girl? seriously? how long do u really think he spent thinkin bout all the five years before he went out and got married? obviously he is not worth ur care or time.. i think u should think bout the possibilities in other ppl in ur life right now... 5 years is a long time to be hung up over someone and maybe u havent noticed the greatness is some other guy thats in ur life.... maybe ure missin whats on the other side because of this wall u've had up for five years?
