How come asians hate asians?

Why all the tension when you are walking down the road and you see another asian guy and they give you dirty looks as if they are trying to compete with you on some basic level? Before you get to know another asian, 90% of the time there is this kind of tension between you, for no fucking reason really, i laugh at it most of the time...

I meant Uk, tho I guess its not a localised phenomenon. I think it's cause we are a minority group and therefore, they feel they have to be more competitive, especially when they see other people that aren't like them, for example its always the gangsta wannabes that walk with a limp, as if they've so ghetto, they have been shot repeatedly in their leg. They love to hate other fly brothers such as myself. It's a shame really, cause there are so relatively few of us we should learn to love each other more than feel threatened............that sounded kinda gay, but I'm not gay so it's all good :p

Its because asians know other asians too well.

Picture this. An asian buys a hoover. Gets home and thinks hmm, it wouldve been good if I could have an extra bag with this as theyre quite expensive. Takes the hoover back to the shop and (being desi) says there was no collection bag in there. If the person working in the shop is white, theyd most probably trust you and say "sorry for the inconvinience, we'll get you another packed one" and give it to you. Mission accomplished.


Howeveerrrrrrrrrrr , if the person working in the shop was also asian, theyd know the way you think and suss you are trying to pull a fast one on them. You can fight all you like but theyll never get you a new piece and say they all some sealed blah blah <enter excuses here>. "IF" you some how get a new piece out of them ... theyll open it in front of you and make sure everything is there. That way, you wont be able to come back and say something else was missing.

So you tell me - who would you like ;)

Those are pretty sweeping generalisations fella, but I do know what you mean, lol. i have seen this many times. I'm not sure whether this happens among the girls though but from what I have read above it might well do. I love getting attention from asian girls walking down the street. Never had hate from them, only my supposedly fellow asian brothers. So girls, am I right? Do you get hated on by other asian girls but one love from the guys. From girls I know this isn't that bad relatively to the beef asian guys have for all other asian guys they don't know yet. But the irony is that I love spending time with my own people, but I find gorer more easier to approach. And the gorees aren't as emotionally insecure as most asian girls are, but I guess I'm going off on a tangent...

This is true, I always find funny voluntary partides in nightclubs, my course, many aspects of life where the asians stick together in a group, separated from the gora and their cheesey music, however, I was just talkin about initial encounters, like walking down the road where there isn't going to be a chance to bond.

Depends where in the country you are from, In Birmingham, and London, things are quite cosmopolitan and there is no mass segregation between different types of desis. I love brum. Also my best friend is a patel. so its all good.
