I Accidently Presses "ok" To Formatt

Is There Any Way I Can Get My Work Bak I Need It, Its Important

You could use a data recovery program but not sure how good they are on floppy. Technically the data is still on the floppy cus it hasn't been overwritten yet. Did you not make a backup??

When you last opended or saved it, the computer you saved it on should still hold a temp copy of it. Have you ever saved it to a hard drive? or have you been saving it direct to the floppy?

Nope, sorry you;ve lost your work...the only way possible is to use a military level software program which can recover deleted work but ermm since none of us are...Im afraid you;ve lost your work....what about ur HD? it may be stored as a .wbk file or even a .tmp file somewhere...I wouldnt count on it tho....

BTW I nearly lost my final year project at uni as well so I know what your feeling..oh & Ive lost plenty of projects too...just get in the habit of emailing yourself a copy in Hotmail or something! Floppy discs are crap as they get corrupted really quick.... anyway, good luck.. xx

did you do a quick format or a full format? it's not horribly difficult to reverse a quick format as it only kills the file table, the data is still on the disk. a full format resets every byte on the disk so it's impossible to recover.
