just wanna know how it works. im so confused becuase teams like mexico and hollanf be up there and englad end up being 10th or sumthing. not fair. i reckon right now englanf has the second best team in the worl behind brazil. on paper that is. but cumon y holland yp there when they play rubbish against crap teams. worse than england.

Isn't it done on progress made in the tournaments? Namely the world cup and the european cup? Its got a long history so thats probably why england isn't where you think they should be because we used to be relatively shit! As bad as scotland u could say

I do believe the ranking takes into account world cup, regional cups, eg Euro, Copa America etc.
Besides that the countries leagues performances, and club teams are also taken into account. That is why teams like Spain are so high in the rankings

i'll tell u how the ranking system works with FIFA, its relatively simple and basically involves Blatter (the fat president) sitting on his fat arse drawing numbers out of a hat!
