Hip/Trendy hotel in London? and clubs near it

anyone recommend and good hip/trendy hotel in London, I will be in UK this weekend, and was thinking about Metropolitan, and also give their 2 cents about clubs near by, I'm looking for places with class

Go to Travelstay.com and then go on some websites to find nearest bars/clubs i would say Piccaddily Circus is good places to stay and everything quite nearby

Thanks for the reply... its not matter of money, as the Metropolitan is expensive also, but matter of style.... I have stayed at other Ritz, the chain is more catered for traditional styles, and I'm looking for Hip/Trendy/Contemporary hotels
