AEM SR Intake
RSX Sway Bar Conversion
Apexi N1 Muffler with custom piping
18" Velox Rims
Nitto Extreme 555ZR tires
Eibach Pro Kit 1" drop
Cleared headlights
Shaved Emblems
Sony Xplod Headunit

Are you going for speed? Because those heavy ass 18" rims just eliminated any chances you had of making that a fast car. I would dump those and get a set of 16" Spoon Sports with Falken Azenis.
18"...WAY too big for a civic. Hell i think 18" is too big for my WRX!

^^^ yea, thats true man, a civic wasnt made for 18's, u need smaller tires....

Let me change a little of what i said before... I dont necessarily hate Honda Civics. They are a high quality, econimocal, reliable car for the money. What puts a bad taste in my mouth is people who think they are performance cars and dress them up like they're ready to run 9's when they really run 17's at best. Half the time the crap they add on makes teh car even SLOWER! It boggles my mind!

i have 18's for show...i put on my OEM wheels when i race or go to the track...about the 17 second car thing...when turbo'd, these things have a lot of potential...i am waiting to earn enough so i can get the turbo kit, turn up the psi and then let the car do the talking...there are too many stereotypes towards that car and i am here to make those people think twice before they say some of the things they say

Well theres a start. You have the right idea with the Racing Harts. Turbo kit though? You know until you start rebuilding the bottom end on that motor your not going to be able to push more than 5-7 psi which will put you into the 15's AT BEST. Is it really worth it after $3k to $6k on a turbo kit? Especially in light of cars like the Sentra Spec V that gets solid low 15's STOCK.
Thats the only thing about Honda's that annoys me....they arent fast until u put a different engine in it or throw a turbo/SC on it. Heck you can make any POS fast by putting a differnt engine in it... A golf cart if thats what turns you on, but why would you want to? Even then until you've dropped $10k in it you wont be passing any Mustangs or WRXs.
The Civic Si which is supposedly "fast" has only 160hp stock. Subaru's LOWEST hp engine right now makes 165hp stock, plus it has torque.
I'm not trying to put down your car specifically I'm just trying to understand how people justify trying to make a Civic fast?

lol...man you don't know much about the D series engine then...at 3psi of boost the car can pull on a supra TT during 1st and 2nd...ran a time of 15.6...5-7 psi runs at mid 14s depending on the driver...no internal engine work done...some guy is attempting to do all the internal work and the turbo which is going to run at 18psi and can be boosted to 25psi on the track...his best with just the turbo was 13.6 at 12psi (alcohol injected...comes with the full kit which goes at about 2900 bucks not 10K  )...i pull on v6 mustangs right now with no problem...if you're talking about the SVT then its in the near future...the civic is an economy car which some racers thought was light enough for the track so they tried it out and it worked nicely...the new civic si if you ask me is a piece of shit...i'd take the 2000 si over it because the new K series motor is weak as F*** off the line...no damn torque
Heck you can make any POS fast by putting a differnt engine in it thats true but it takes knowledge and dedication...we don't do it because we want to show off in front of the cars that range higher in prices...its because we love doing it...and as about the turbo...doesn't your car have one too???????????...you get my point...not trying to diss you...i'm just telling you my side of the story
love your wheels by the way

I hear ya. What year is your civic? BTW thats the whole idea behind the WRX/SRT-4/Eclipse GSX/VW GTI/etc.: An affordable car that can spank many higher priced cars right off the dealers lot. Thats the difference between those cars and the civic. U cant spank ANYTHING off the dealers lot with a civic....well maybe a Kia. :)
Also I'd like to see some evidence that 3psi of boost on a stock civic will spank a Supra TT. You know those are 320hp STOCK right?
Not trying to diss you either, just bringing you my personal experience with owning 1 Honda, 2 Toyotas, 1 Benz, 2 Nissan, 2 Subaru, and 1 Ford. I only have the one WRX right now though....

I have a 2002 civic and i've pulled on a lot of cars when i was stock...how does an F body pontiac sound??
i knew that you'd ask for proof so here it is
http://www.7thgencivic.com/memberrides/data/5/7972EX_TURBO_AT_3PSI_VS_SupraTT.mpg right click and save it plz
this is what the driver said "I raced at the track today. I installed the turbo kit only the day before. At 3psi, I actually pulled away from a modded Supra TT in 1st and 2nd. Once I got into 3rd gear he left me (not too quickly though!). I ran a 15.6 at 88.9 mph. And I let off for a brief second (braked a little too) towards the end because I was starting to run lean and didn't want to ruin anything lol. I fixed that prob though. At 4.5psi I am running rich and strong. BTW that time is with aftermarket 17s and my system still in the trunk. This friday I'll be running it at least 4.5psi and with the system taken out. Man I'll be running 10psi when my alcohol injection system comes in."
i dont like the fact that people start out with fast cars...thats kinda sad...i'd rather build my car from ground up...turn it from a 18 second car to a 12 second monster...thats just my mentality though :)

You think its SAD to start out with a FAST CAR???????? :?
So what you're saying is the only cars worth anything in this world are the slow cars that someone spent too much money on to make fast(er)?
BTW if that civic ran 15 something and beat the Supra TT then the Supra guy OBVIOUSLY couldnt drive because that is a mid to high 13 second car STOCK. At WORST it should run VERY low 14's.
And when you say F-body Pontiac I have no idea what that means because F-bodys come in configurations from 170hp to well over 300hp. I'm guessing you raced a V6 automatic which have like 170hp and weigh about a billion lbs.

you must be kidding...M3's cost 45K...civics cost 14K + turbo 3K + internal engine work $800+ build the suspension and tranny 1-2Kmax...that car would be boosting 18psi+ and quarter miles time would be in the low 12's high 11's...20K for all that...hmm someone needs to learn their math

Take a 95 M3, throw in a 97 M3 Engine, with a OBD1 conversion, AA chip and exhaust and under 20K (i know 'cause i have done it), i have a car that will make any Civic within $20k (including costs) look like it's going in reverse.

Jet Ecu wasn't my last mod. I had to ship my ECU to cali for 6days with the list of modes i had an were gonna be adding an they tuned it acordingly.
