Been with my girl for....10 months almost?

Anyways, made the mistake (again) about talking about marriage (I know, I know). She's been on my ass ever since I slipped it out. Anyways, right now things are shifting a little bit in regards to my career and priorities changed.

So today, we talk and she gets all upset at me 'cause I'm busy preparing myself for a possible career change. She gives me the silent treatment. I tell her to grow up and act her age. She starts going banana's over the phone.

I tell her that my priorities are changed whether she likes it or not and that right now, my career is number one.

The way I look at it is that if you want the best apples, you gotta get the best tree first. You see what I'm sayin'?

Now she ain't talkin' to me. As mean as this is to say, I'm glad. Now I can truly focus 110%.

Hunny when its important decisions like marriage...only do it if your feeling it 100%....Your not mean ... your honest... and she should admire that not hate it. I would want a guy to marry me because he truely wants to, not because it was the only step forward and he felt pressured into doing it....
