Mine is...

Two summers ago I met this girl at work who everyone wanted to go out with. She wasn't single at the time, but when she broke up with her boyfriend, I got the courage and asked her out and she said yes. We set a date and everything was working out. A few hours before the date...the big black out happened that covered the east coast. Needless to say nothing in the city worked so i had to cancel.

Long story short, I never got a 2nd chance. Thats my story.

Thanks!! I'm over it now, but back then, i felt i had the worse luck...no way i could have planned for a blackout that took out the east coast.

but that blackout was temporary, so why didnt u get a 2nd chance?

Following week she went on a roadtrip with girlfriends, when she came back she decided she wanted to travel more, and went to europe and things never worked out.

She missed out, her loss :cool:

what about after all her trips?

She came back like 6 months later with different experiences and different values. We rarely talked and her IL wasn't like it was before.
