What I want to know is why is it such a big deal?

You get a prank call at night and you are upset about it? Why don't you just turn your damn cell off when you are sleeping? Then you say "what if there is an emergency" well there are risks involved with having a cell on at night so you shouldnt be suprised. also why make a big deal out of it when you have given your # to people online? Why is one suprised this has happened to them? Its just 1 prank phone call, when was the last time you got one? prolly a long time to most of us. so don't sweat it. if u make a big deal out of it - the caller will do it again.

I wake up in the mornings to go on rounds and I have attendings and other stuff. My life is not all about "smoking weed and getting a C", unlike some other losers on here. Last night, I got 3 fucking calls (between 4 and 4:30AM), couldnt sleep after that, and had a shit of a day today. I have a headache and am annoyed as all fuck. Im sure your ass doesnt really care if anyone bothers you, cause there is no loss. However, the rest of us care.

In addition, you probably live in a dorm room where no one gives a shit if theres noise. I live in a house. When my phone rings, I wake up, and so do other people. Dont tell me to fucking expect it to happen.
