anyway, here is my opinion on the actual topic that was so eloquently expressed by my friend desi shawty, whom i have no problem with whatsoever
from the stories passed on from the women in my family, desi guys marry white women either out of confusion or out of love. they are confused when they grow up as a desi in america. they develop an attraction towards white women naturally, probably because their friends are mostly white. also some desi consider white people to be awesome and better than us. so the desi guy marries the white girl for all the wrong reasons, thinking he is the shit, he gets props from other desi guys (sometimes) and even more from his white friends - he thinks his american status is raised now that he has a white biwi. this kind of desi has parents that are more traditional than not. then you have the desi guy who marries a white woman because he loves her. his parents probably support his decision. they are likely to be very hip. sometimes this is cool, because if you have the parents blessin, then what could be better. the desi guy loves the white woman for many reasons, but they are beyond her skin color.

so you're making excuses for the british now? They eventually tried to liberate the people of india? you don't know what you're talking about. They only gave up their hold on india because they were bankrupt from fighting against Hitler in Europe, and very war weary. They didn't have the money or the strenght to hold india anylonger.
