first off, a lot of girls get that. it could be from either your bra strap (wear it too tight or it just causes irritation) or you're building muscle. for some reason, when girls lift weights, they get stretch marks on their shoulders first.
anywho, try rubbing coconut oil on it or go tanning to help fade the colour. if these don't work and it still bothers you then you could always get laser treatment.
i don't think its a big deal because almost all women have stretch marks somewhere on their body and you can't really stop it. up to you but i wouldn't sweat it.

You had a kid and don't have any on your stomach at all? Lucky!!!
You should also try Mederma, that works very well if you use it quick enough.

We need some pics. I wonder if guys get stretch marks on their abdomen after they lose weight too. Does it usually happen in places that have "cellulite" like the love handle areas?
