Does the RD main site fuck up your computer?

Eh, I remember some characters here were talking about something that the RD main website put on your computer (some kind of spyware) and fucked it up.

1) Does it still do that?

2) How do you know if you have it?

3) How do you get rid of it?

I usually don't have an issue with this stuff because I don't use IE, but I accidentally openned up the site in IE and now I'm suspicious...

i think so. cuz when ever i go there i get a pop saying "do you want to install nCASE search?" and than when i click NO. another message pops up saying "download error". this happens ever time i view the home page.
