Try this:

Do not "whack it" for about a week and then go lift. Your stamina, vitality, and explosiveness should have increased. You should even be able to handle more weight.

My guess is due to the testosterone build-up, which correlates to the fact that my work-outs are usually less intense and harder to perform if I jack-it' before I go lift, due to lowered testosterone levels.

This is why professional fighters (boxers, wrestlers, cage fighters) are told not to have sex or ejaculate atleast a week before thier fight.

But if i dont 'whack it' for about a week i also get moody and easily annoyed. And i dont like being like that. So its not worth it just to be able to lift a bit more.

True. But it could be an effective technique for strength gains, kind of like a mild, natural sterioid-like effect.

that is kinda paradoxical. frequent sexual activity has been shown to raise testosterone levels. A healthy libido can do wonders for your performance in the gym.

But I also hear the opposite but have not seen any studies done on it. Biologically, it sort of makes sense as males typicaly will fight amongst one another for the right to mate with females. So they go all year w/o getting off, and then mating season hits, and bam, they've got all this agression to work out.

But that might be the thing - it's a mental edge rather than hormonal. Sex makes you relaxed and less physically tense. Not getting off makes you more twitchy & agressive.

Powerlifting is largely mental, building mass is largely genetic/hormonal.

no...they have fat content...and even that is very minimal

Well what girls think isnt my main reason for getting pumped. I enjoy doing them and it feels awesome when blood is pumping through my body. And the old cliche of it giving you more energy.

Should work in theory, but I tried it and didnt work. I went a month without it and no change.
