dumbell shrugs: I love working my traps
70-90lb dumbells, start around 70's, do 4-5 sets.

barbell shrugs: same as above
225lb, 6-8 reps, for 3 sets.

bent over barbell rows: Helps develop a strong upper back!

I absolutely love dumbell rows. They are probably my favorite excercise.

I like military press as well, though my max is 140-145lbs.

Do you do standing or seated, and with seated do you bring the bar infront, behind, or above your head?

I started doing the bent over bar bell rows. I like it. But I think my favourites are seated rows.

I do 110lbs x 8 reps. (3 sets)

my favourite is walking lunges/squats with a twist while holding a medicine ball. its great for the obliques, quads and buttocks.

you lunge holding the medicine far infront of you (elbows almost straight), squat and twist your body (w/ the ball) towards the opposite leg which is bent.

seated military as it's more difficult to jerk the weights up. I do both in front and behind my head. and I suppose the weight always ends up above my head in the end. ;) I do the full range of motion, i bring it down till it touches my collar bone or traps, then push up. I also sit as upright as possible so as to keep my pecs from doing any work.

I also like forward shoulder raises.

I like lunges too. usually at the end of my leg workout with a 135 lb barbell on my shoulders.

I used to do behind the head presses but ive heard and read from more than one person that they are very dangerous for most people. Even when I do them myself, it feels uneasy and akward.

Id rather not go that route.

yeah, it's supposedly really bad for your rotator. but I think that's only if you align your shoulders a certain way. I've not had any shoulder issues due to behind the head military press.

My favourite is tricep curls (or straigtens) seated. Not sure what its real name is but you sit straight on a flat bench, lift a single dumbell over your head and behind you and straighten, curl behind, straighten, etc. I can do a silly weight for my size (don't know why, its only this exercise) of 30kg single dumbell. For you Americans that's 66 lbs.

I used a mobile phone camera to take that picture and got someone else to take the shot (obviously). My back isn't that wide, but the wings and the V shape are real. The other picture is a more realistic capture.

LOL, I was quite impressed with the outcome though.

I love Deadlifts. I usually warm up with 225 for 20 reps, 275 for 15, 315 for 10, 405 for 8 and up to 495 for 5.

Stop copying me, Ronny. ^ :p

Deadlifts: It's my heaviest lift, and it feels great before (when I squat down, grab the bar and stare at myself in the mirror), during, and after the lift. It makes my back feel like it was worked over by Thor's hammer, and hits damn near every muscle in my body. Plus there is nothing, and I mean nothing (well, possibly getting set on fire) that gets the sweat pouring out of my body like deadlifts.

- @235 for 18 reps
- @265 for 14 reps.
- @325 for 11 reps.
- @415 for 8 reps.
- @505 for 4 reps.

Deadlifts are king.

That is more of a myth.
If you over-exert yourself, and overtrain, you COULD stunt your growth.

The intensity that you are training at is nothing to be worried about in terms of stunting your growth.
