View Full Version : [ A good yet satisfying way to get over an Eating Problem. ]

People usually love to indulge in eating foods and have problems staying away. Whether it be that chocolate bar you had your eye on for the past 20 minutes or that cake that was leftover from your brother's birthday last night. You get urges whether it be at midnight before bed or in the middle of the day during school.

One way to stop a certain habit is to use reverse psychology for your stomach and mind.

We will use doughnuts as an example and relate it to me.

I don't usually indulge much in sweets but I did last night. I went to krispy kreme and sat and bought a dozen, fresh off the steaming factory belt, glazed doughnuts. So warm your teeth slice through them like liquid silk! I ate more and more.. after eating half.. I couldn't eat more.. but I purposely did.. and they began to lose its value. Like in economics you learn about how value depreciates with every additional unit.. so on the last couple, I concentrated about how much I didn't like it cause it tasted bad cause I was full and my mind told myself I couldn't handle it. So i concentrated on the negative aspect of it.. and when I was done with the last couple I detested doughnuts and felt sick as hell... as I ate about 2,500 calories of doughnuts in one sitting... now I'll be sure not to crave them for another long period of time..

try indulging till u cant indulge ne more, then force urself some more till you hate it.. in the long run u wont have as much as if u ate it in moderation as the gaps between each eating will be alot more like this.

That's how I manage to stay away from all this shit.. it works! try it.. have fun! :cool:

...the law of diminshing marginal utility. very smart.

but that means you have to eat all that stuff first...although in the long run it'll help. the short-run....hmmm...i don't know if i could risk it.

you know there are exceptions to this rule. hahhaa

lol oh man i can't do this method..well I don't need to really. I am not a big fan of junk food. plus since i workout i have to eat clean otherwise i do NOT feel right..it goes in hand to hand for me. btw bro what do you eat these days anyway?

Nah. I used to be a skinny kid. Then I ate like a horse and gained about 25lbs of muscle(ok maybe some fat too)

I hope I didn't make you think im much into junk food though lol.. these day's I haven't had much focus on gaining mass but rather maintaining.. it's all pure and clean foods.. such as eggs, breads, fruits, milk, juices, and plenty of water :) I'm depending on an adequate amount yet not too much. For my workout, I mainly focus on running rather then mass gaining.. for that, I'll wait till my age comes around where gaining mass is not as hard.. then I will take total advantage. what about you? what have you been up to with ur routine these days.. pretty much the same? change anything?.. and yes, eating crap makes you feel like shit for doing it, so when i do it.. I go all out n feel like shit about it for a long time so i know I won't even think about touching it =]

Meal 1 - Oatmeal. Milk. Orange Juice. Whey. 4 Eggs. Banana. MegaMen Multivitamin. Fish Oil Capsules.
Meal 2 - 2 can tuna. 4 slices 100% whole wheat bread. Apple.
Meal 3 - Brown Rice. Boiled Vegetables.
Meal 4 - Cottage Cheese. Whey.

ya only 4 meals..im not doin 6 meals..fuck that..too much of a hastle.

and ya same exercise routine..i did slack off this winter break tho, oh well.

i like this diet bc its very easy to prepare and its cheap and ofcourse healhty :)

Meal 1 - Oatmeal. Milk. Orange Juice. Whey. 4 Eggs. Banana. MegaMen Multivitamin. Fish Oil Capsules.

Meal 3 - Brown Rice. Boiled Vegetables.
Meal 4 - Cottage Cheese. Whey.

ya only 4 meals..im not doin 6 meals..fuck that..too much of a hastle.

well the protien helps me gain muscle mass. there is good fat in there, so no need to worry about that. ii dont know i just know its healthy and its gonna help me..i dont really know too much details about it nor do i care as long as it does the job haha

Yeah Meal 1 is the breakfast ofcourse. I wake up and eat that all, gets me full. except i actually leave the whey out. then i go workout and come back and drink whey. and its whole eggs actually. honestly i just started this specific diet and plus its hard to stay with it..but im trying again to stick with it for a while..and ill def let you know how it goes. im guessing i will gain weight though. then again il start doing cardio(boo) so who knows...il be strict on this for 3 months and see how it goes.

Nah this is actually the good cholestoral..infact ive heard if u eat eggs daily it can actually reduce your cholestoral.

on forums and i actuallyh went up and talked to this guy who majored in soemthin that dealt with nutriion and chemistry not sure..but he knows smoothie king..and ya he knows his shit.
