the worst is when they let u carry on thinking that the feelings are being reciprocated when theyre not and how they just sit bak and let u fall madly in love with them..then they go and break ur heart, it takes time to get over that, took me an age..its weird becoz i didnt think i was that weak a person.. wat also gets me is how, wen ur with them they dont appreciate u yet the second u get over them, they want u bak :confused: :confused:

its funny becoz wen things break down, they think they can say watever they want to u..and then after a while they they try it on agen and when u reject em they go flipmode..as happened to me, i rejected him after he hurt me soo bad so once agen the swearing and degrading started..not that i cared, i was beyond caring wat dat mofo thought :rolleyes:

Well it happened to me around 2 years back. The girl that I had been with for over three years tore me apart after she went through her three lifelines in our relationship. I am a very tolerant person and I let so many minor things slide that I hear many couples arguing over, but when it comes to a really big issue then I have to say something and thats when I would say a lifeline would get used. For weeks I was trying to find comfort in myself by trying to ask whether I should have given another chance or whether I should have ended it after the first lifeline was used. The most painful thing was that I never really told my parents the truth about why we broke up as they saw her as this amazing girl who they loved as their own daughter. I couldnt see them go through the pain of realising that, like me, they had taken in someone who wasnt what they thought. Also, I know my parent could possibly be extra cautious with the next girl and treat her with a different approach if they knew the truth so I just told them that it was my fault that we broke up and that it was too hard for me to talk about so we never really had to discuss it. Strangely enough, my mother actually asked me this week why we broke up.

That month, during the break up, I realised how much i loved shopping, going to bars and basically just abusing my credit cards......luckily I had worked my arse off that year too so it was all ok.
